Who is This Course For?

This course is for anyone with a reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing materials.

 

Go online to: online_aha_logoand take the didactic course on the web.  Your employer will then need to give you a site specific training at your workplace. There is no written exam or practical testing needed.

This Course Teaches:

  • What bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread
  • Protection from exposure and how to act if exposed
  • How to clean up after exposure
  • How to tell or report any exposure
