This course teaches individuals how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults and children and how to identify and care for excessive bleeding, disease prevention, sudden illness and injuries. It also familiarizes the participant with the use and safe operation of an Automated External Defibrillator for victims of cardiac arrest.
