Ben was born and raised on San Juan Island, and he joined San Juan EMS in 2007. Ben gained his EMT training as a Navy Diver, additionally receiving his National Registry designation. Ben also has earned his Associate of Arts degree. Ben moved back to the Island to raise his two children with his wife Michelle. He is a second generation San Juan EMT ( Ben’s Mom was an EMT, and Ben’s younger brother Noah also has joined San Juan EMS.) Ben is proud to serve his community through EMS as our Director of Operations and Disaster Preparedness Officer.
