Cady first became an EMT in 1998. At that time, she had been working at the Spring Street School (SSS) where her two daughters were attending school. She did a wide variety of jobs for the school, but her favorite was to travel internationally with groups of teenagers: India, Thailand, Nepal, Central America and the Maldives.
She still likes to travel. After 7 years with SSS, she was offered a job with San Juan Island Emergency Medical Services that she just couldn’t pass up. She is currently a full-time Administrative Assistant with us. She’s also the Secretary to the Hospital District Board and of course still a volunteer EMT.
