San Juan Island EMS (Ambulance and Boat)
We will work with you and your insurance company, to make this an easy and painless process. District Residents have already “paid” their deductible through local property taxes, so nothing will be due above any insurance payment received for any ground based transport which includes ambulance and boat transports.
Island Air Ambulance (Plane)
Island Air Ambulance flight bills are generally covered by insurance. We will bill your insurance for the full amount. Beginning in 2011, there is NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE to district residents for Island Air Ambulance Flights. Prior to 2011, there was a maximum of $1,000 out of pocket cost.
