We will work with you and your insurance company, to make this an easy and painless process. District Residents have already “paid” their deductible through local property taxes, so nothing will be due above any insurance payment received for any ground based transport which includes ambulance and boat transports.

Island Air Ambulance flight bills are generally covered by insurance. We will bill your insurance for the full amount. There will only be a maximum of $1,000 out of pocket expense for District residents. In either case, we’ll work to help.
