Water AmbulanceWe operate the State of Washington licensed ambulance SJC Sheriff’s P/V Guardian which allows for a robust and flexible response capability to our many outer islands and the waterways of the county.

We have increased our capabilities through:

  • Responders Certified as Marine Rescue Technicians
  • Augmented night vision system
  • EPIRB
  • Emergency automatic life raft system
  • Modification of boat interior to allow for two patients to be transported simultaneously
  • Enhanced patient care lighting and storage
  • Patient and crew safety equipment
