Cady first became an EMT in 1998. At that time, she had been working at the Spring Street School (SSS) where her two daughters were attending school. Lainey leads our efforts in injury and accident education and prevention here at EMS. She has received numerous awards for her efforts in heading up our public education campaign, teaching thousands in CPR and first aid, and coordinating our car seat and helmet program. In her spare time, she enjoys sailing, flying and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ben was born and raised on San Juan Island, and he joined San Juan EMS in 2007. Ben gained his EMT training as a Navy Diver, additionally receiving his National Registry designation.
