2023 Annual Statistic Report for San Juan Island EMS

In 2023, our team of thirteen staff and more than twenty volunteers responded to 1,184 aid calls, marking a 2.2% increase from the previous year.

Our average chute time, which includes safety checks and route planning, was 1 minute and 56 seconds. Our total average response time, including chute time, was 8 minutes and 12 seconds. Response times were quicker in town, and longer for more distant locations.

According to surveys, 96.73% of patients were satisfied with the care we provided. Additionally, our responders received an impressive rating of 97.97 out of 100 for the care they delivered.
