International Association of EMS Chiefs

The International Association of Emergency Medical Service Chiefs (IAEMSC) will be hosting the first annual EMS Leadership Summit from September 25 through September 29 of 2009 in Washington, DC.  This leadership summit is intended for Executive level EMS leaders in organizations that offer Emergency Medical Services. Chief Jim Cole serves on the Board of Directors and represents rural/wilderness agencies.  The summit will include attendees from across the United States as well as other countries. The agenda will include presentations on political engagement and advocacy, leadership challenges in the changing workforce and emerging operational trends in EMS leadership. There will also be several sessions which will be facilitated discussion forums for exchanging problems, ideas and solutions from the attendees.
