March EMT of the Month

EMT Flight Officer Dan Bacon, EMT moved to Friday Harbor in 1991 with his wife Frances and their four children. Dan has been a volunteer EMT with the San Juan Island EMS since completing his training in 1992. He was named EMT of the year in 1998, The Frank Wilson Service Award in 2005 and the Chief’s Award in 2012.   Dan provides excellent patient care and responds at all hours of the day and night to emergency requests. An accomplished construction professional, he has built custom homes on all of the islands. Dan has also served as President of the EMT Association. The veteran EMT is just one more great example of the quality and caliber of the medical professionals who will respond to your home in the event of an emergency. He currently serves as our EMT Flight Officer.
